Position: Ongoing Contract

Shift Patterns:

  • Monday – Thursday
  • or
  • Friday – Sunday

All shifts operate on a rotation of two weeks of day shifts followed by two weeks of night shifts.

  • Day Shift: 6am – 5:30pm
  • Night Shift: 6pm – 5:30am

Note: Training will be scheduled during weekdays.

Pay Rate: Dependent on shift pattern and experience:

  • Monday-Thursday shift: £9 – £11
  • Friday-Sunday shift: £11 – £14.50

Work involves a busy manufacturing and production environment for a large engineering company, offering an opportunity to join a renowned organization specializing in their field.

Within a team of Technical Assembly Operators, Support Engineers, and Team Leaders, your responsibility will be to ensure the efficient, safe, and accurate assembly of subsea telecommunications equipment.

Main Duties:

  • Undertake assembly processes, adhering to all ESD product disciplines, ensuring products are correctly built and tested.
  • Utilize electrical, electronic, or mechanical assembly skills to ensure product quality.
  • Coordinate with other departments and supervisors to ensure timely build and transfer of products.
  • Follow engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Assist in other departments as necessary.

Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred.
