Salary £20,000-£30,000 depending on experience
Urgently recruiting for an experienced customer service driven Sea Freight Export Clerk to join an established Freight Forwarding company based in Colnbrook
Duties for the suitable Sea Freight Export Clerk;
- Operational day to day control of various customers.
 
· Manage LCL & FCL freight forwarding operations
· Ensuring transport activities are operated in accordance with internal and customer service requirements
· Ensure that financial job costing, invoicing and reporting for freight is carried out
· Adherence of freight forwarding operational margins
· On-time delivery of cargo in line with customer service requirements
· Demonstrate an ability to reduce transport cost and improve margins
· Problem solving and corrective actions as appropriate
· Formulate cost saving initiatives from freight and consolidation activity, based on supplier/customer agreement
· Obtain good knowledge of customs procedures and regime.
