My Client is currently looking for a Multi Skilled Carpenter to work for a Local Authority Contact covering areas within Hackney and Haringey.
The post holder will undertake repairs and maintenance work in both occupied domestic properties. The successful Multi Skilled Carpenter will be working from a PDA system where jobs will be allocated on a Reactive basis.
Duties for the Multi Skilled Carpenter (Not limited to):
- Carrying out Carpentry works ie skirting boards, door hanging and work tops.
- Basic Tiling
- Basic Painting and decorating
- Basic patching up work
- Basic/ Generic Plumbing work
Required Qualifications:
- NVQ 2 in Carpentry
- OR City & Guilds Qualification
- OR 10+ years working in the Carpentry Industry
Please note for this position a full UK Drivers Licence is required along with undergoing a DBS check. Previous experience in the Social Housing sector is an advantage.
