A rare opportunity has arisen for a new team member to join a mobile support team for a sector of the Government. This role will involve supporting the erection of event equipment such as marquees, crowd barriers, street furniture, electrical plug‑and‑play equipment, lighting rigs, etc. You will work from a depot located in New Addington where every day is different.
Typical tasks include:
- Assisting in the depot – working on assembly of equipment, creating packing lists for jobs, cleaning or refurbishing equipment.
- Deploying to various London‑based sites, driving a company van or traveling as a passenger to deliver, assemble, collect and dismantle equipment.
To apply you must have:
- A can‑do attitude
- Valid driving licence and be a confident driver
- Practical skills to assemble equipment (ideal if you have any electrical skills)
- Ability to work safely
- Openness to working out of hours and overtime
Due to the nature of the contract requirements, you will be required to go through a high level of security clearance and offer of employment is dependent upon your clearance. For this role, you must have evidence of the right to work in the UK.
