This role is an exciting opportunity to join a leading maintenance supplier. The company are expanding the team and are looking to base a static Handyperson within a government Building in Bromley. The role will be responsible for carrying out a range of general maintenance tasks, fabric maintenance tasks, business support tasks and janitorial tasks and will report to and support the regional lead mobile engineer and assist mobile engineers as required in the delivery of planned, reactive and ad hoc maintenance tasks.
Working from a schedule you will be required to carry out fire alarm tests, water temperature recording, emergency lighting tests, etc.) Utilities meter readings. You will be first line response to reactive repairs. Minor decorating tasks and general office cleaning as scheduled for remote sites.
You will be completing documentation as required, including RA’s & MS’s and adhere to all associated permits. Participation in standby rota for emergency calls, outside normal working hours.
We are looking for someone with experience of building maintenance, handyperson or janitorial duties with a good understanding of health and safety requirements within a building environment.
You will be required to complete Security Vetting paperwork following a successful offer.
