Mechanical Assembler required in Greenwich, SE10 for an ongoing contract. The role involves working Friday to Sunday, totalling 33 hours per week, with both day and night shifts available. Pay ranges from £13 to £14 per hour.
Initial training will be provided over a two-week period, Monday to Thursday.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking assembly processes while adhering to ESD product disciplines.
- Following engineering drawings to assemble mechanical racking systems, sub-assemblies, and wiring of all connections.
- Building, assembling, and installing modules that comprise the suites.
- Completing rack wiring for all panels as per drawings.
- Assembling different power supply units and installing cubicles.
- Working on control panels, including complete wiring using crimp tools.
- Component and D-type connector soldering.
- Electrical/prototype wiring and PCB building.
HOURS OF WORK:
The successful candidate will work shifts on a two-week rotation:
- Days (2 weeks): Friday – Sunday, 6am – 5.15pm
- Nights (2 weeks): Friday – Sunday, 6pm – 5.15am
Full training will be provided. Interested candidates will be invited to an assessment day to complete a Maths and English assessment, along with an instruction-based manufacturing test. Further details about the role and company will be discussed during this process.
