Gas Engineer Domestic Service and Repair with a salary of £42k, typical earnings between £45k to £50k. The position includes a van, training, and excellent benefits.
Domestic Gas Engineers are required for a large housing maintenance specialist with extensive work in GU and some PO areas. Suitable candidates must be competent with breakdown and servicing on all domestic gas boilers.
There is a requirement for all engineers in the team to cover callout, which is 1 day per week, every week, on a rolling basis including weekend days. Out of hours are 24hr; however, after 10pm, callouts will only be for major water leaks. These are paid at £40 incomplete and £50 for completions. Overtime works at a 1.5 hour rate for travel to the job and time to complete.
There are also opportunities for training and development. Suitable Gas engineers must hold domestic ACS qualifications for CENWAT, CCN, CKR, HTR. Qualifications in ASHP, OFTEC or LPG are also desired and will increase the salary banding offered, but are not essential.
