Overview
Looking for an assembly and testing technician to join a small team within a global telecommunications company that specialise in subsea telecommunication equipment and fibre optic technology.
Responsibilities
- Support Manufacturing activities for new / existing products
 - Disassemble/assemble test Equipment components (fibres, cables etc…)
 - Use of electronic measurement devices when necessary (DMM/Oscilloscope etc)
 - Experience of working in testing or manufacturing environment.
 - To highlight any specification or design error to either the engineer responsible or relevant supervisor and rectify if possible
 - Ability to read and interpret technical data, i.e engineering drawings, circuit diagrams, assembly drawings etc. is also required.
 
Role Details
The role for an Assembly and Testing Technician will be 50/50 testing and assembling. Testing and manufacturing background is required.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Experience of working in testing or manufacturing environment.
 - Ability to read and interpret technical data (engineering drawings, circuit diagrams, assembly drawings).
 
Shift and Location
6am starts; North Greenwich; Days and Nights; Night shifts are required. Commute to North Greenwich required.
