Access Control Engineer
Permanent

£29,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
Monday – Friday
08:00am – 17:00pm (30 minutes lunch unpaid)
Overtime and Out of Hours Call Out system is in place.
21 days holiday increasing by 1 day every 2 years’ service, maximum of 25 days, plus statutory days.

Our Client is a large building maintenance company, who work closely with local authorities, social landlords, NHS trusts and private sector clients. They are looking for the ideal candidate who could join their busy team and be responsible for repairs, installs and maintaining Access Control, Warden Call, Communal Ariel & CCTV equipment.
Main duties will be:
- Service/Install; Door Entry, Warden Call, Automatic Door/Gate systems, CCTV systems (including IP/networked) and Intruder alarms
- Planned Preventive Maintenance on the above systems
- Testing and Inspecting/Compliance checks on Access Control/CCTV works
- Reporting to supervisor/manager on the status of works within the department
- Other duties when requested
- Working to current British Standards and Industry Standards
- Working in accordance with the Health and Safety Work Act
Key Skills:
- Good communication skills

- Willing to learn
- Able to work individually as well as being part of a team
- Preferably have experience with one or more of the following; ISM, GDX, ENTROTEC, SML, PAC, KMS, RECRD, GEZE
For this role you must:
- Have a full UK driving licence
- Have an accreditation with ADSA, CAMEsafe, Tynetec or CAI
- Have a valid CSCS card
- A previous background within social housing or local authority maintenance is advantageous.
