CMS Recruitment are seeking hardworking Multi-Skilled Tradesperson on an ongoing basis to join our well-known construction service client working across Middlesbrough.
Our client is seeking several skilled and versatile Labourers (Multi Skilled) to join their construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various trades and be capable of working on diverse projects including carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, etc. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Assisting with construction tasks across multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, and plumbing
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out assigned duties
- Supporting the installation, repair, and maintenance of structures and systems
- Preparing work sites by cleaning and setting up materials and equipment
- Assisting with fabrication tasks as required on-site
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment at all times
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with skills in carpentry, roofing, masonry, or electrical work preferred
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely
- Ability to read technical drawings or plans is a plus
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions
- Relevant certifications or licences (e.g., CSCS card) are desirable but not essential
- Must have a full UK driving licence and own transport to get to and from the sites
