Domestic Gas Engineers required for servicing and breakdown work on domestic properties. This large organisation is interested in qualified, experienced gas engineers that can commit to a full working week Mon-Fri 8am-5pm as PAYE employed with a varied days shift rota. There are also other opportunities to earn extra through O/T and call out if requested but average earnings are 45-50k on a normal 8 hour day.
The current manager was working as an engineer on this contract until recently and has implemented a bonus structure that is motivating and very achievable. The ideal gas engineers will be based in or near the areas above.
A successful candidate will be reliable, hardworking and driven to deliver the very best service to all of our clients and their residents. They will have an excellent attitude and will always be looking to learn and develop. They will be effective communicators who can contribute to and strengthen the team as well as being able to work and solve on their own initiative.
A successful gas engineer will have relevant and recent experience servicing various types of gas appliances and will be well versed in completing landlords gas safety records. They will have a minimum of 2 years' experience and a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points. They must be able to pass a basic national security check (completed at the job offer stage).
