We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, conscientious motorcycle Technician to join our small team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and servicing a variety of brands including Royal Enfield, Voge, Benelli, etc. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for problem-solving to develop their career within a family business. The Technician will work closely with clients and team members to ensure optimal operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a range of motorcycles and scooters to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and techniques, then implement effective repairs.
  • Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out repairs, diagnostics, and servicing.
  • Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, and parts utilised.
  • Carry out routine work such as menu servicing, safety checks, chain and sprockets, tyres, brakes, fork seals, headstock wheel bearings, as well as more in-depth engine rebuild work such as valve clearances, cam chain replacement, clutch replacement, carburettor rebuilding.
  • Be confident and competent to carry out work on various makes, models, and years.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in motorcycle diagnostics and repairs.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
  • Valid UK driving licence plus A class motorcycle licence essential.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
