Overview
Job Purpose Summary: To provide an efficient picking, reworking and packing service in designated customer specific work areas ensuring orders are despatched in line customer specific SLAβs. You will hold a current PPT licence and conform to all MHE procedures and H&S requirements. Your typical daily duties will include the picking, reworking, labelling and packing of customer orders. This will require some interaction with the company IT systems. Your role will not be restricted to your typical daily duties and you may be required to work in all areas of the warehouse operation as requested by your line manager.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure all orders are accurately picked and packed correctly
- Ensure all orders are correctly addressed through the courier despatch systems
- Ensure that all Customer Service Level Agreements are adhered to and customer specific documentation is correct against Quality Control standards
- Carry out stock takes as and when required
- Ensure same day despatches are dealt with accurately and efficiently
- Putting stock away in correct locations β with due regard to Health & Safety requirements
- Ensure each stock line is checked and stored as accurate with stock replenished daily across the warehouse as instructed by Team Leader
- Keep all walkways, gangways, packing areas and fire exits clear of stock, rubbish and FLT
- Ensure pallets are stored in a safe tidy area
- Report any damage to/or done by FLT
- Ensure all areas are clear and safe at all times
- Perform additional and/or different duties in keeping with skills, experience and abilities in order to meet the commercial needs of the organisation

Ensure safety is paramount at all times to all colleagues and visitors entering the warehouse. Maintaining diligence with regard to security is paramount. - Previous experience of warehouse operations (goods receiving, pick, pack & despatch)
- Experience of working within defined Standard Operating Procedures
- Must be able to work as a team player and be able to work unsupervised
- Good verbal and written communication skills (Fluency in English is required)
- Good IT systems knowledge including Microsoft Office & WMS systems
- Conversant with stock counting procedures and able to provide counting accuracy
- Familiarity with specific customer SLA agreements
- Possess a current Power Pallet Truck operating licence
- Highly motivated and proactive, with a can-do attitude
- A team player with a willingness to work across different teams and departments
- Responsible and proactive in nature
- Demonstate excellent attention to detail and accuracy
