We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Support Administrator to join our dynamic team here at Cables Direct. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the sales department by managing administrative tasks, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring smooth communication between departments.   • Manage and update customer portals with accurate and current information.
  • Process sales orders efficiently and ensure timely delivery.
  • Supplying ETAs and PODs from the Fedex website.
  • Prepare sales reports and analyse data to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to schedule meetings, appointments, and follow-ups.
  • Handle correspondence with clients, including emails, phone calls, and enquiries.
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations and promotional materials.
  • Support the team in organising events or campaigns aimed at boosting sales performance.
  • Maintain organised filing systems for contracts, invoices, and other relevant documents.
  • Liaise with other departments such as logistics and finance to ensure seamless operations.Booking in orders with customer sites.
  • Proven experience in a similar administrative or sales support role is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role.
