Overview
Senior Associate – London Corporate Transactions, Gambling/Technology, Media & Communication (TMC) M&A sub‑team.
Responsibilities
- Take lead on a wide variety of corporate transactions, managing teams of associates and trainees in the London office and across UK and overseas.
- Develop existing and new client relationships, sourcing and developing contacts and prospects (e.g., entertaining) without partner attendance.
- Support business development and raise firm profile in Gambling and TMC sectors, including speaking at industry events and publishing content.
- Supervise and train mid‑level and junior associates and trainees.
- Advocate the use of AI tools for sophisticated, efficient work throughout project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum PQE of 5 years post‑qualification.
- Strong drafting skills and ability to create bespoke documents and mechanisms.
- Excellent commercial acumen, judgment, interpersonal and business advisory skills.
- Proficiency in communicating clearly with clients.
- Demonstrated experience in gambling and/or TMC sectors or relevant secondment/accounting.
- Willingness to use AI tools to enhance work and efficiency.
