About You

  • Excellent communication skills, confident and highly motivated
  • An understanding of measuring, planning, costing, and knowledge of flooring and bed types would be an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given.
  • Car driver essential
  • Computer literate, ideally Word, Excel, Microsoft 365
  • First Aid trained in the workplace would be an advantage although training will be provided

Key Responsibilities:

  • Share administration, housekeeping, and daily operational tasks
  • Answer phones promptly and greet customers professionally
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist with purchases
  • Schedule estimator visits (Mon-Thurs, Sat; Newbury also Fri)
  • Process deliveries, maintain records, and manage paper trail
  • Contact customers regarding arrivals and coordinate fitting schedules
  • Chase outstanding payments daily and process in FRS
  • Complete daily GRN audit and end of day sales reports
  • Maintain store cleanliness, security, and presentation standards
  • Support stock management and control
  • Assist team with all aspects of store operations affecting business profitability
