About You
- Excellent communication skills, confident and highly motivated.
- An understanding of measuring, planning, costing, and knowledge of flooring and bed types would be an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given.
- Car driver essential.
- Computer literate, ideally in Word, Excel, Microsoft 365.
- First Aid trained in the workplace would be an advantage, although training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Share administration, housekeeping, and daily operational tasks.
- Answer phones promptly and greet customers professionally.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with purchases.
- Schedule estimator visits (Mon-Thurs, Sat; Newbury also Fri).
- Process deliveries, maintain records, and manage paper trail.
- Contact customers regarding arrivals and coordinate fitting schedules.
- Chase outstanding payments daily and process in FRS.
- Complete daily GRN audit and end of day sales reports.
- Maintain store cleanliness, security, and presentation standards.
- Support stock management and control.
- Assist team with all aspects of store operations affecting business profitability.
