About You
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident and highly motivated
- An understanding of measuring, planning, costing, and knowledge of flooring and bed types would be an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given
- Car driver essential
- Computer literate, ideally in Word, Excel, Microsoft 365
- First Aid trained in the workplace would be an advantage, although training will be provided
Key Responsibilities:
- Share administration, housekeeping, and daily operational tasks
- Answer phones promptly and greet customers professionally
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with purchases
- Schedule estimator visits (Mon-Thurs, Sat; Newbury also Fri)
- Process deliveries, maintain records, and manage paper trail
- Contact customers regarding arrivals and coordinate fitting schedules
- Chase outstanding payments daily and process in FRS
- Complete daily GRN audit and end of day sales reports
- Maintain store cleanliness, security, and presentation standards
- Support stock management and control
- Assist team with all aspects of store operations affecting business profitability
