We are looking for a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Team. This role will be based at our new purpose-built site at Lancaster Way Business Park, Ely and will be reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary manufacturing team, supporting manufacturing, implementing design changes and developing the production processes used that create the Versius Surgical Robotic System. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop with us in this innovative field.
Responsibilities
- Providing first-line hands on support to the Production teams
- Supporting verification, validation, and risk management activities
- Identifying and implementing process improvement activities and product design changes to ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and scale up of Versius manufacture
- Carrying out, under supervision and assistance, risk management activities such as Health and Safety Risk assessments and Process FMEA including the implementation and communication of mitigation actions
- Willingness to turn your hand to anything within the Manufacturing Engineering remit that helps the team deliver its objectives
Qualifications
- Recently qualified with a good degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline, or equivalent
- Great team player with a strong work ethic and a demonstrable determination to produce high quality results
- Ability to manage your own projects whilst working in an agile team
- Use of your own technical knowledge to create industrial solutions
- Experience within a manufacturing environment would be highly beneficial
