About the Role

The Procedure Enablement Manager is responsible for increasing procedure utilisation across the full lifecycle of the Versius installed base — from activation of newly sold systems, to optimisation of active accounts, through to recovery of declining or inactive systems. The role identifies and quantifies the key factors impacting procedure utilisation across direct and indirect markets by combining data analysis with structured voice‑of‑customer (VOC) and field insight, and translating these insights into clear, scalable levers that drive activation speed, sustained utilisation growth, and recovery of underperforming systems.

This role requires excellence in both analysis and action. The individual will produce data and VOC‑driven analysis to define prioritised action plans, and will also be responsible for swiftly implementing, tracking, and continuously refining those action plans through direct execution and cross‑functional leadership to deliver measurable utilisation outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Insight Generation, System Design & Capability Building
    • Lead structured assessment of utilisation performance across direct and indirect markets
    • Identify barriers to adoption and conditions associated with high‑performing sites
    • Combine quantitative data with qualitative field insight to define true utilisation drivers
    • Translate findings into scalable playbooks, SOPs, and intervention frameworks
  • Field Insight & Validation
    • Visit customer sites to observe Versius in live surgical workflows
    • Conduct structured interviews with surgeons, theatre teams, and administrators
    • Translate real‑world observations into actionable operational, clinical, and commercial improvements
  • Standardisation & Framework Ownership
    • Design and deploy a standardised site activation and ramp‑up SOP (install, first cases, steady state) across direct and indirect markets
    • Design and roll out a standardised quarterly Service Delivery Review (SDR) framework
    • Ensure insights are embedded into repeatable processes rather than one‑off interventions
    • Support training and onboarding of Clinical Sales teams and channel partners
  • Installed Base Lifecycle Ownership
    • Own the activation journey from contract signature through installation, first case, and ramp‑up to steady‑state utilisation
    • Track milestones including time to install, time to first case, early case cadence, and time to steady state
    • Identify and resolve activation bottlenecks across functions
    • Coordinate cross‑functional support to accelerate activation timelines
    • Monitor utilisation performance using daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
    • Identify underperformance and lead structured root‑cause analysis
    • Define and coordinate targeted intervention plans
    • Escalate persistent or systemic barriers
    • Define thresholds for at‑risk and inactive accounts
    • Re‑engage customers and mobilise cross‑functional focused and targeted teams to diagnose and re‑implement
    • Track recovery durability and build recovery playbooks
  • Execution, Governance & Performance Management
    • Own prioritised portfolio of accounts requiring intervention
    • Drive accountability across functions without direct authority
    • Define and manage utilisation KPIs
    • Translate tracking and insights into Salesforce
    • Report to Commercial Operations and senior leadership

Success Measures

  • 20% increase in utilisation across targeted accounts
  • Reduction in time to first case and ramp‑up timelines
  • Decrease in inactive or stalled systems
  • Adoption of standardised growth playbooks across both direct and indirect markets
