A well-established international supplier to the Mechanical Electrical and Building Engineering Services sector is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join its growing team. The Warehouse Operative will play a vital role in supporting warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring materials are handled, stored, and distributed efficiently while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 9:30pm (30-minute break)
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Pick, pack, receive, and dispatch goods accurately and efficiently
- Manage and maintain stock levels using warehouse systems
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and health safety compliance
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Valid counterbalance forklift experience
- Strong physical capability for manual handling and lifting
- Good attention to detail with solid organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and ability to work effectively as part of a team
