We are seeking an experienced Sales Support Supervisor to join our client, a leading supplier of construction consumables and equipment, supplying major contractors and national housebuilders across the UK. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys being at the centre of the action. You'll remain actively involved in customer enquiries, quotations and problem solving while providing day-to-day support and guidance to a small Internal Sales team. The responsibilities of the Sales Support Supervisor include but are not limited to the following: * Manage inbound customer enquiries, providing quotations, product advice and a high level of customer service. * Take ownership of complex and high-value enquiries, using commercial judgement to maximise sales opportunities while protecting margin. * Proactively follow up quotations and customer enquiries to convert opportunities into orders and strengthen customer relationships. * Build effective relationships with suppliers to source products, negotiate commercial terms and resolve customer issues. * Lead, support and develop a small Internal Sales team, acting as a key point of contact for guidance, coaching and product knowledge.
