Client Onboarding & Account Manager The Role

We are looking for an experienced Client Onboarding & Account Manager to join a growing financial services business supporting clients within the recruitment sector.

This is a relationship-led role, responsible for onboarding new clients and then managing the ongoing relationship.

You will be the key point of contact for clients, ensuring they are successfully set up, supported throughout the process and receive a high level of service once they are live.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within recruitment finance, invoice finance, factoring or a similar commercial finance environment, combined with strong client management and onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients.
  • Gather and review required client documentation, including identification, financial and business information.
  • Guide clients through system set-up and implementation.
  • Act as the main point of contact throughout the onboarding journey.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients and deal with day-to-day queries and requirements.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure clients are onboarded efficiently and smoothly.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any client issues.
  • Ensure clients understand the products, processes and services available to them.
  • Maintain accurate client records and CRM information.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure a positive experience.
  • Support clients as their businesses grow and their requirements change.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the client experience and strengthen retention.

We're looking for someone who is naturally relationship-focused and enjoys being the person clients rely on.

Ideally, you will have

  • Previous experience in recruitment finance, invoice finance, factoring, asset finance or commercial finance.
  • Strong client/account management experience.
