Love being on the phone? Enjoy a fast-paced environment where no two days are quite the same? We're working with an established contractor payroll business that's looking for someone to join its busy onboarding team.

You'll be the first point of contact for contractors referred by recruitment agencies and clients, helping them get registered, answering questions and making the whole process as straightforward as possible. With contractors joining through both Umbrella and CIS arrangements, there's plenty to learn and certainly no shortage of people to speak to!

What you'll be doing:

  • Handling high volumes of inbound and outbound calls.
  • Contacting newly referred contractors and guiding them through registration.
  • Explaining onboarding requirements clearly and professionally.
  • Collecting information and documentation to complete registrations.
  • Liaising with internal teams and clients to keep things moving.
  • Making sure contractors receive a positive, efficient service.

What we're looking for:

  • Someone confident, friendly and comfortable spending plenty of time on the phone.
  • Experience managing high volumes of calls or customer enquiries.
  • Good attention to detail and strong administration skills.
  • The ability to work quickly, accurately and independently.
  • A positive, proactive attitude.
  • Experience in Umbrella, CIS, contractor payroll or recruitment would be a big advantage. We'd also love to hear from people who have worked in other busy, regulated environments.

Full training will be provided, so you don't need to know everything on day one!

The important bits:

  • £28,000–£32,000 depending on experience.
  • Five days a week in a South Hertfordshire office.

If you're a people person who enjoys a busy phone-based role, this could be right up your street.
