We're partnering with a highly respected contractor services provider seeking a Senior Payroll Advisor to join their growing payroll team. As Senior Payroll Advisor, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate and compliant payroll services across a diverse contractor portfolio:
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll for umbrella, CIS, and contractor workers
- Calculating PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, holiday pay, and statutory deductions
- Acting as a senior point of contact for contractor payroll queries
- Investigating and resolving complex payroll discrepancies
- Ensuring full compliance with HMRC, FCSA, SafeRec, AWR, and pension regulations
- Supporting and mentoring junior payroll team members
- Working closely with internal teams, agencies, and contractors
This is a highly visible, client-facing role within a busy contractor payroll environment.
Proven experience within umbrella, CIS, or contractor payroll is essential, along with a strong knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, and holiday accrual. A solid understanding of HMRC legislation and payroll compliance is also required. Experience working in a high-volume payroll environment is preferred.
