The Role
As Senior Payroll Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and compliant payroll services across a diverse contractor portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll for umbrella, CIS, and contractor workers
- Calculating PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, holiday pay, and statutory deductions
- Validating timesheets, invoices, and payment instructions
- Acting as a senior point of contact for contractor payroll queries
- Investigating and resolving complex payroll discrepancies
- Ensuring full compliance with HMRC, FCSA, SafeRec, AWR, and pension regulations
- Supporting and mentoring junior payroll team members
