We're working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Liverpool who are looking to add an Accountant to their team.

The role will give you exposure to a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed clients, covering accounts, tax, VAT and bookkeeping.
You'll have plenty of client contact and the opportunity to build relationships and become a trusted point of contact.
What you'll be doing
Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
Preparing VAT returns, management accounts and tax returns.
Looking after a portfolio of SME and owner-managed clients.
Dealing directly with clients and handling day-to-day queries.
Assisting clients with bookkeeping and cloud accounting software.
Working closely with the wider team and supporting clients with their accounting needs.
What we're looking for
Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice.
Experience preparing accounts for a range of SME clients.
Good knowledge of VAT, bookkeeping and general practice work.
AAT qualified, ACCA/ACA part-qualified or qualified, or qualified through experience.
Someone personable and confident with clients who wants to continue developing their career.
