About the Client

This role will be central to the launch, with full ownership of how the service is delivered and how operatives experience it day to day. The Role What You\’ll Own

• Ownership of the delivery of the new self-assessment tax service, from set-up to day-to-day running

• System implementation: design and manage efficient workflows, leveraging off-the-shelf software for submissions

• Data integration: build on existing payroll data (already covers ~50% of whats needed) and manage additional data collection

• Operational oversight: identify admin needs and work with third party partners if outsourcing is required

• Compliance assurance: ensure all HMRC submissions are accurate, timely, and error free

• Input into growth: support senior leaders with ideas for marketing and ongoing development of the service

• Customer experience: champion outstanding service, understanding that personality and empathy matter just as much as accuracy

About You

Essential:

• Knowledge of UK self-assessment/personal tax processes (e.g., HMRC submissions, personal tax returns, related software)

• Hands-on and organised, with the ability to take ownership of delivery
