Our dedicated payroll team processesover 20,000 payments each weekacrossumbrella and CIS payroll solutions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

We are looking for aPayroll Assistantto join the team, supporting the smooth and timely processing of payments for our contractors and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll Processing:Assist in the accurate and timely processing of weekly and monthly payroll for umbrella and CIS contractors.
• Data Management:Maintain and update payroll records, including timesheets, tax codes, and employee details.
• Payment Accuracy:Calculate wages, tax deductions, pension contributions, holiday pay, and other adjustments.
• Compliance & Regulations:Ensure payroll processing meets HMRC requirements, employment law, and industry-specific regulations.
• Employee Support:Respond to payroll-related queries from contractors, employees, and clients.
• Reporting & Audits:Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits.
• Collaboration:Work closely with the finance, compliance, and customer service teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure a seamless payment experience.

What Were Looking For:

? Previous experience in payroll administration (umbrella or CIS experience is a plus).
? Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
? Ability to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment.
? Excellent communication skills for handling contractor and client queries.
? A proactive and team-oriented approach to work.
