About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised, proactive and people-focused Onboarding & Sales Support Officer to join a fast-growing professional services business within the contractor payroll and accountancy sector. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with clients/candidates, supporting sales activity and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience from initial enquiry through to account setup. You'll play a key role in supporting both the sales and operations teams while building strong relationships with contractors, agencies and clients. The business offers a fast-paced, supportive and ambitious environment with genuine opportunities for long-term progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the sales team with new client onboarding and administration
- Acting as a first point of contact for new contractor and client enquiries
- Guiding clients through the onboarding and registration process
- Managing documentation and ensuring compliance checks are completed accurately
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
- Supporting account managers with client communication and relationship management
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and updating client information
- Assisting with sales reporting, pipeline updates and administrative support
- Building strong relationships with contractors, agencies and clients
- Following up on outstanding information and onboarding documentation
- Providing a high level of customer service across phone and email communication
What We're Looking For:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident speaking on the phone and dealing with clients daily
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience within sales support, onboarding, recruitment, payroll, accountancy or customer service is beneficial
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Strong administrative and multitasking abilities
- Good IT skills and confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
