Finance Assistant in Invergordon

Finance Assistant We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a well-established organisation in Invergordon on an initial 12-week temporary contract. This is a hands-on finance role supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day transactional accounting. It would suit an experienced Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or Finance Administrator who is comfortable working across purchase ledger, sales ledger and reconciliations and can quickly settle into a busy finance environment. Key Responsibilities * Processing supplier invoices accurately and ensuring appropriate coding and approvals * Supporting purchase ledger and accounts payable processes, including supplier queries * Assisting with sales ledger and accounts receivable activity * Completing bank, supplier and general finance reconciliations * Supporting payment runs, BACS payments and day-to-day banking activity * Maintaining accurate financial records and investigating discrepancies * Providing general finance and administrative support to the wider finance team About You * Previous experience within a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator or similar role * Good understanding of transactional finance, including purchase and/or sales ledger * Confident completing reconciliations and working with financial data * Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy * Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and finance/accounting systems * Able to work independently and quickly pick up existing processes * Available at relatively short notice for a temporary assignment If this sounds like a role that you would be interested in, hit apply or drop me a call / email
