About the Opportunity: My client, an employee-owned Payroll and Accountancy business based near Stockport, is looking to add an Internal Finance Executive to their growing team. With plans to significantly expand their client base over the next 12 months, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive finance environment.
The role will involve supporting the internal finance function by coordinating and processing financial transactions, assisting with reporting, and helping ensure the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Minimum B grade in GCSE Mathematics
- AAT part-qualified, Accounting & Finance graduate, or equivalent
- Experience using Sage accounts or a similar accounting system

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the senior management team by providing a structured internal accounting service, including:
- Assisting with the preparation of the weekly group Profit & Loss report
- Carrying out weekly bookkeeping for group companies using Sage 50, including adjustments
- Recording company credit card transactions and maintaining receipt records
- Raising customer invoices as required
- Supporting the preparation of Direct Debit collections
- Monitoring aged debt across the group and reporting issues to the relevant managers
- Providing information and documentation as required during audits
- Completing general finance administration and liaising with the sales team where necessary
- Assisting with monitoring budgets, forecasts and future cash flow
