Are you a numbers enthusiast with a passion for delivering excellent client service? We are currently recruiting for a friendly and experienced Client Accountant to join their growing team in the Umbrella sector. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with limited company clients, providing them with expert financial insight and support. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be put to great use as you manage a variety of accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. They pride themselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment where your contributions are not only valued but celebrated. Working closely with the Operations director, this role will advance further into looking after other areas of the business as it continues to grow. This would include overseeing all divisions of the business in terms of their product offerings Accountancy / Umbrella / Global and helping build a team to support the company’s growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a portfolio of client accounts ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, addressing their financial queries and providing tailored advice.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve client service.
- Mentor and train junior staff members, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Requirements:
- Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) (Qualified AAT)
- At least 2 years of experience in dealing with a client base.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
