British Engines Group company, CMP Products, is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of cable glands, cable cleats and cable accessories. CMP manufactures its products from three facilities based in Cramlington, Northumberland, and has a global distribution network, supported by ten offices spread across six continents from Houston, USA, to Busan, South Korea.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cramlington for a Marketing Communications Executive. During this role, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of integrated marketing communications across multiple channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging and effective audience engagement.

Key contributions include:

  • Supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns, coordinating content, assets, and timelines.
  • Creating and managing content across digital channels including website pages, blogs, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Writing and scheduling email campaigns and newsletters, whilst managing automation journeys.
  • Own day-to-day management of social media channels, including content planning, posting, and performance monitoring.
  • Create PR and brand content including case studies, press releases, and news articles.
  • Assist with internal communications, including company updates, newsletters, and engagement activity.
  • Liaise with external agencies and internal teams to deliver marketing materials.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing to ensure alignment between product messaging and brand communications.
  • Monitor performance of campaigns and channels where required, and support ongoing improvements.
  • You will provide general support to the Marketing Communications team as required.

This role also involves ensuring consistent brand messaging and optimizing communication channels to support business growth.

Who we’re looking for

You will have a strong interest in marketing communications, ideally with a qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Experience within B2B is essential, along with experience working with a technical product. You’ll have 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing communications role, with strong writing skills and attention to detail. You should be confident managing multiple tasks and delivering activity across different channels. Experience with content management systems, email marketing platforms, and social media tools is important. Familiarity with SEO and analytics is beneficial. You’ll be organised, proactive, and confident taking ownership of your work, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. This is a full-time, permanent position working day shift. To support an improved work-life balance, CMP operates a 9-day fortnight (9/10) working pattern. This allows employees to work compressed hours and, as a result, enjoy every other Friday off.

  • Strong expertise in Marketing Communications and Communication
  • Proficient in drafting and distributing Press Releases and Public Relations materials
  • Experience with Social Media Marketing and its tools for brand promotion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is a plus
