Job Description

We are now recruiting for QC Controller to join our team in Telford on a full time permanent basis!

Salary: £25,445.42 per annum.

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off days, 6am-6pm.

As a QC Controller you will be responsible for ensuring that correct procedures are maintained in the handling and reporting of returned or rejected goods from the depot.

Key Duties of a QC Controller:

  • To ensure that correct procedures are followed for all QC Held goods and correct return forms are completed, photos taken and the correct status is applied to the return.
  • To manage good housekeeping within both returns and QC areas.
  • Responsible for all uplifts and customer returns.
  • To ensure that correct procedures are followed for all goods requested for disposal.
  • To liaise with Customer Services with clear and accurate information.
  • To process all Transactions relating to the above correctly through our WMS so that accurate records and traceability of stock is maintained.
  • When required to check video footage to verify related matters.
  • To provide support on the floor as and when time allows.
  • Disposal (paperwork, preparation of loads, planning Deliveries/Collections with Swancote).
  • Assist with other Stock functions such as Stock Clear Up, including clearing of CS, FORKLIFT & DEPOT location pallets after thorough investigation.
  • Very occasionally, you may be asked to assist with Warehouse work such as PPT driving or Reach Truck driving (Licences must be in place) or Cross Dock or Stock receipting.

Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Reach licence essential.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of goods in, picking and despatching.
  • PC Literate in Microsoft Office and excel.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year.
