- Electronically recording the entry and departure of vehicles and loads into the main truck yard.
- Conducting exit security checks.
- Liaising with the warehouse and the Shunter driver when directing loads in.
- Briefing drivers on behaviour and expected standards when on site.
- Understanding all fire procedures and actions in the event of alarm activation.
- Monitoring the temperature of the fridges and reporting faults.
- Monitoring CCTV and reacting to incidents as required.
- Liaising between emergency services and outside agencies during incidents.
- Conducting random searches of staff vehicles and baggage.
- Performing routine patrols around the site both internally and externally to provide a security presence.
- Acting as a visual deterrent against potential criminal elements.
- Reporting all incidents and occurrences through the chain of command when necessary.
Shift Details: 4 ON 4 OFF Days - 06:00am-6:00pm.
Salary: £26,944 per annum
