Transport Operations Support

Reporting into the Transport Shift Manager, the Transport Operations Support will provide general administration support to the Transport Department. Salary: £27,119.42 Shift: 4 on 4 off nights, 6pm - 6am Key Duties of Transport Operations Support: Correctly debriefing drivers Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly Scanning and storing PODs using Culinas document management system Preparing drivers wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries Downloading drivers cards / tachographs Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS) Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads Job requirements Attention to detail / accuracy Ability to work without direct supervision Adaptable approach to work / training Conscientious and reliable Positive and adaptable attitude Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel Able to work as part of a team or individually Able to work effectively and communicate to the correct level TPBN1_UKTJ
