Transport Administrator in Newport

Transport Administrator Our Telford site has an exciting opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join its friendly team on a full-time, permanent basis. This position will support the Transport department by providing effective administrative support and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of key transport administration processes. Salary:
£25,445.42 - £26,445.42 per annum, depending on experience Working Hours:
Sunday to Thursday, 8:30am to 4:30pm Key Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain systems relating to Working Time Directive (WTD) and tachograph rules and regulations. Produce daily tachograph reports for the Transport department. Maintain records for agency drivers and process agency invoices through SAP. Ensure agency terms and conditions are accurately recorded and kept up to date. Input and monitor driver holidays and sickness absence. Maintain the timekeeping and attendance system and process sick notes. Receive and monitor fuel deliveries and maintain the fuel monitoring system. Maintain driver noticeboards, ensuring information is accurate and up to date. Keep the subsistence payment spreadsheet updated and assist with wage-related queries. Produce reports and spreadsheets for internal departments in a timely manner. Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the business.
Job requirements
Previous experience in a similar administrative role is preferred but not essential. Experience within an FMCG environment would be advantageous. Excellent administrative skills with strong attention to detail. Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and use initiative with minimal supervision. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
