Job Description We have a great opportunity for a Transport Operations Support Clerk to join our Telford Transport team on a full time permanent basis! This position is responsible for debriefing drivers on a daily basis alongside providing general administration support to the Transport team. Salary: £25,157 per annum. Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 6pm-6am. Key Duties of a Transport Operations Support Clerk: Correctly debriefing drivers. Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly. Scanning and storing PODs using Culinas document management system. Preparing drivers wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information. Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required. Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries. Downloading drivers cards / tachographs. Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services. Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets. Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS). Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads. Qualifications Attention to detail / accuracy. Ability to work without direct supervision. Positive and adaptable attitude. Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information. Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure. Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines. Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
