CME Group is looking for an Experience Designer - Consultant with 5+ years of expertise in the creation of engaging and personalized digital experiences, to work on and a range of applications and products across our digital landscape. What you\'ll do: You will craft experiences from concept through digital product creation, owning interface and interaction design activities: workshops, creative brainstorming, complex problem solving, user flow development, UI and interaction design - leading to the creation of compelling and thoughtful user experiences. You have expertise in UI design and are fluent in the use of best practices and brand standards, and have a knack for really good visual design. You are an influencer and a negotiator with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Our design team: We are a small team of innovative experience designers, who advocate for our customers in every project we work on. We interact with teams right across our organisation, and lend our expertise in design thinking to problem solving of all kinds. We use an inhouse agency model to support a range of digital touchpoints (40+ customer-facing apps, our website, mobile apps) as brand ambassadors, facilitators and design evangelists. Responsibilities: Works closely with visual designers, functional/business analysts, developers, stakeholders, and content strategists to translate business and product requirements into an engaging and appealing user experience Follows a human-centred approach by considering qualitative and quantitative research and metrics to affect key decisions and enhance the user experience: competitive analysis, customer feedback, site analytics, and user research findings Creates extremely detailed user flows, journey mapping, wireframes, etc. based on requirements from stakeholders, and communicates UX clearly to relevant teams. Captures all states, edge-cases, \"unhappy paths\" and path logic for visual UI design and web development teams to build out. They should be comfortable with an agile approach to design, with an emphasis on user testing and rapid iteration Actively contributes to design system growth based on use cases Champions the customer experience and promotes usability best practices Qualifications & Skills: Undergraduate qualification - Interaction Design, HCI, Communications or equivalent degree preferred Online portfolio or work samples demonstrating a variety of user-centred design solutions - with proven experience of delivering high quality design across large scale, data driven digital experiences Proficiency in a variety of prototyping and design tools, with a particular focus on expertise in Figma. Experience in building and using design systems is essential. 5+ years of UX experience in user-centred design methods and techniques to create viable solutions across screen sizes and devices Development and implementation of design patterns, branding guidelines and standards A strong interest in exploring and experimenting with AI-powered design tools to improve workflow efficiency and design processes. Fluency in best practices for user experience design, and strong understanding of usability principles and techniques.
