Market Surveillance Analysts monitor assigned products, related cash, and derivative markets to detect market conditions, positions, or activities that could adversely affect Exchange contracts. They are provided with tools and information sources that display manipulation and analysis of trading data. Analysts work closely with experienced staff and develop the capacity to conduct high-quality surveillance and investigations with minimal supervision.

What You\’ll Do
- Communicate surveillance analyses and findings to management and team members.
- Conduct investigations related to compliance with trading, position limits, delivery, and reporting rules.
- Engage with market participants and clearing firms\’ representatives regarding surveillance activities.
- Monitor market participation, deliveries, news, and economic factors influencing contract prices.
- Prepare reports for management and disciplinary committees when necessary.
What You\’ll Need
- 1-2 years of experience in an exchange, regulatory organization, dealer, FCM, or similar; recent graduates with relevant internships are encouraged.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in small teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of proprietary Market Regulation systems is a plus.
- Bachelor\’s degree in an analytical field from an accredited institution.
