b Overview /b p In this role you will lead market data audits to ensure policy compliance and proper licensing globally, protecting CME Group’s intellectual property and revenue. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams to develop best‑practice audit guidelines and improve processes. You’ll perform on-site and remote audits of financial institutions and vendors, communicating findings to leadership and auditees. Your work supports the company’s global governance of market data and fosters customer understanding of data usage. This is a client‑facing, impact‑driven role with opportunities to shape audit programs and drive compliance improvements. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li supportive environment /li li career progression /li li inclusive culture /li li broad exposure to CMEs products /li li competitive salary /li li comprehensive benefits package /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Execute a program of customer compliance audits to protect CME Group’s intellectual property and optimize revenue recovery /li li Research and prepare for customer audits, gathering materials to inform audit visits /li li Communicate audit expectations and required materials to audited firms and manage timelines /li li Conduct on-site market data audits, analyze consumption and permissioning systems for a complete usage overview /li li Provide written and verbal findings and recommendations to auditee and Data Services leadership /li li Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to support compliant processes with minimal disruption /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 6–10 years of market data audit or management experience with on-site and remote audits /li li Strong knowledge of real-time, end-of-day and derived data policies from financial exchanges, index providers, or information vendors /li li Experience negotiating and settling audit claims for data usage non‑compliance /li li Knowledge of global data consumer and vendor landscape (vendors, investment banks, online platforms, HFT firms) /li li Proven ability to build customer relationships and drive process improvements /li li FIA certification or CPA welcomed /li li Knowledge of vendor products and market data systems (LSEG DACS, Wombat, Bloomberg B-Pipe, etc.) /li li Knowledge of third-party market data inventory systems (MDM, InfoMatch) /li /ul ul li strong communication /li li relationship building /li li cross-functional collaboration /li li market data audits (on-site and remote) /li li data licensing and policy enforcement /li li Excel advanced proficiency with financial formulas and pivot tables /li /ul
