Job Title: Test TechnicianIndustry: ElectronicsSalary: £26-28KLocation: MelkshamType: PermanentMy client is looking to recruit a Test Technician for their electronics business located in Melksham. They design and develop electronic products for a variety of industries and are looking to recruit this role to provide support for the Production team ensuring that products are manufactured right first-time.To work as a member of the Final Test team providing support to Production. To carry out inspection and testing activities on manufactured products under the direction of the Senior Final Test Engineer.Responsibilities* Carrying out pre-test inspection of manufactured products.* Conducting final testing of all manufactured product as part of the build process.* Testing purchased products and parts before supply or unit build as applicable.* Running diagnostic software for testing systems, monitoring and accurately recording the results.* Installing Operating Systems and Application software onto systems to meet specified requirements.* Ensuring that records of testing are retained and reports provided as applicable.* Carrying out other testing related activities as directed by the Senior Final Test Engineer.Knowledge / Experience Required* Demonstrable working experience in a similar role.* Recognised qualification in a technical or ICT discipline.Working hours:37.5-hour week Monday – Friday 07:00 – 15:30 (including 30 mins unpaid break), Friday 07:00 – 12:30The benefits that come with the role are:* Competitive salary package* 28 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays* Company pension* Sick pay schemeSuccessful candidates will be contacted within 7 working days of their applications, should you not hear from us within this time, please assume that your application was unsuccessful.
