On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a proactive and people-focused Team Supervisor to join a fast-paced Production operation. This role plays a key part in overseeing the custom assembly process, ensuring products are built on time, to exacting quality standards, while maintaining a safe, motivated, and high-performing team environment.
Key Duties:- Supervise day-to-day activities within the production assembly team
- Set clear expectations around safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Provide hands-on coaching and support to team members on the production floor
- Coordinate workflow, resolve production issues, and ensure on-time order completion
- Work closely with the Team Manager and other supervisors to achieve production targets
- Promote a positive, respectful, and engaged team culture
- Monitor performance, conduct reviews, and support development plans
- Manage absence, performance matters, and team wellbeing
- Track key metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Encourage adherence to company values, processes, and global quality standards
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is essential
- Prior team leader, line leader, or frontline supervisory experience essential
- Confident in performance management and supporting team development
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative leadership style
- Hands-on, proactive problem-solver
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Experience in custom, precision, or high-mix manufacturing is advantageous
- Basic knowledge of SAP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is beneficial
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Understanding of LEAN or continuous improvement principles is a plus
