We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in Bath. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting goods in, stores, and despatch, ensuring materials and finished products are handled accurately and efficiently.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing stock, supporting production, and ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking, and booking in goods from suppliers
- Issuing materials and components to production
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Ensuring all stock is clearly labelled and organised
- Booking deliveries and liaising with couriers
- Completing stock checks and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting smooth flow between stores, production, and office teams
- Maintaining a clean, organised working environment
About You
- Previous stores, warehouse, or manufacturing experience desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Proactive and able to work independently
