We are currently recruiting for a Stores and Logistics Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment, taking responsibility for supporting and coordinating a dedicated production area. This is a key role focused on ensuring materials, workflow, and communication are aligned to keep production running efficiently and on schedule.
The Role
Within this role you will act as the link between production, stores, and planning, ensuring your assigned production area is fully supported with materials, information, and coordination to meet output targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick orders for production
- Line feed production cells
- Book goods in and goods out
- Pack products for despatch
- Manage stock using FIFO
- Carry out stock checks and inventory
- Meet quality standards and KPI targets
- Complete general stores and logistics duties
- Work with production to keep materials flowing
What We're Looking For
- Previous stores, warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (SAP desirable)
- Counterbalance, Reach Truck or Stacker experience desirable
- Counterbalance licence preferred (training available)
- Positive, reliable and organised
