Our client is a growing electrical contractor specialising in High Voltage (HV) and Electric Vehicle (EV) network installations across residential new‐build developments. They are now seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join their team and oversee the delivery of HV and EV projects for leading housebuilders including Redrow Homes and Taylor Wimpey.
The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for the supervision and management of site activities, ensuring electrical network installations are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The role is field based, covering sites along the M4 / M5 corridor, with only occasional attendance at the office (typically once per week). The successful candidate will report directly to the Electrical Operations Manager. Our client is also open to considering a Junior Site Manager with relevant HV experience who is ready to step up into a Project Manager role.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee HV network and substation installations, ensuring compliance with programme, budget, and quality requirements
- Oversee EV charging infrastructure projects, acting as Principal Contractor when required
- Manage IDNO planned repair and maintenance works (non‐emergency)
- Supervise site operations to ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards
- Liaise effectively with internal departments, clients, and external stakeholders
- Produce monthly progress reports detailing site performance and project risks
- Identify and resolve issues promptly to minimise disruption to project delivery
- Deliver projects using direct labour wherever possible, limiting the use of subcontractors
- Proven experience working on HV network installations (essential)
- EV network experience (desirable)
- SHEA Power certification
- Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities effectively
- Strong communication and problem‐solving skills
- Salary up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Projects are currently new‐build residential only, with future plans to expand into repair and maintenance contracts. Candidates must be based within one hour's commute of the M4/M5 corridor.
