Job Title: Production Operator (Permanent Nights) Location: Devizes Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: 39 hours per week Salary: From £35-40k (depending on experience) + bonuses Industry: Precision Engineering / Manufacturing The Opportunity We\’re working with a leading manufacturer in the engineering sector, currently seeking an experienced Production Operator to join their high-performing production team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a background in precision manufacturing ideally, although full training will be given. Key Responsibilities Operate CNC and EDM machinery to produce high-precision products small batch quantities. Perform in-process inspections using CMMs, optical systems, and hand tools, recording accurate measurements and data. Load and edit CNC programs as per work instructions. Maintain documentation including work orders and quality records via ERP systems. Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any faults. Adhere to company safety policies, 5S standards, and wear appropriate PPE.Working hours Sunday 11pm – 6am, Monday to Thursday 10pm-6am Ideal Candidate Profile Experience within and engineering environment. Methodical, detail-focused, and able to work under pressure. Computer literate with a basic understanding of ERP systems.
