Our client is looking for a Park Warden / Ground Maintenance keeper to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis. The successful candidate will support their Open Spaces team with general maintenance within public spaces. This position is being offered on an ongoing temporary basis.
Responsibilities
- Undertake general repairs, cleaning and maintenance of public property
- Maintain recreational areas including cutting and weeding, using appropriate equipment
- Check the safety of play and sport equipment under health and safety regulations
- Assist with community events
- Show potential hirers around the facilities
- Secure the facilities at the end of the day setting necessary alarms
- Ensure the area is kept clean
- Check public toilets on a regular basis
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance is desirable, but not essential
- Experience in using general maintenance tools, mowers, strimmers, hedge cutter etc.
- Excellent verbal communication abilities
This position is working 37 hours per week Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am – 4.00 pm
