Our client specialises in producing detailed background and due diligence reports for individuals and companies on behalf of international clients. They are looking for an organised, reliable and detail-focused administrator to join their friendly team on a maternity cover contract, with the potential for the position to become permanent. The Role This is a varied administrative position where accuracy, organisation and confidentiality are essential. You will be responsible for processing client requests, managing documentation and ensuring reports and correspondence are completed accurately and within strict deadlines. Key responsibilities will include: Liaising with international clients and overseas associates, primarily by email. Receiving client requests, checking documentation and updating internal systems. Managing multiple requests and prioritising workloads to meet deadlines. Preparing, checking and proofreading detailed reports and documents. Handling confidential client information and issuing secure documents. Carrying out detailed searches using internal systems. Managing client queries and maintaining accurate records. Providing general office administration and supporting the wider team when required.About You We are looking for someone with previous office and administrative experience who takes pride in producing accurate work and can manage competing priorities in a professional environment. You will ideally have: Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail. Good proofreading skills and confidence checking written information. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to organise your workload and work to strict deadlines. A professional approach to handling confidential information. A reliable, flexible and team-focused attitude.Knowledge of GDPR and information security would be advantageous, as would an interest in global affairs, geography or geopolitics. Full internal training will be provided. Working Hours & Location Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm. One-hour unpaid lunch break each day. Office-based Monday to Thursday, with the option to work from home on Fridays. Based in Marlborough, Wiltshire.Please note: Applicants must live within daily commuting distance of Marlborough and have access to their own car, as the office has no nearby public transport links.
